In the past, I've used walls to display my clocks and art blocks. However, for some reason, this venue can be very windy and I find myself stressing about my walls blowing over. They have almost done so a few times. Since it's only me in the booth, I would like to NOT worry about holding my walls while trying to sell my work!
Last month I reworked my display a little bit, but I'm still not happy about it. It needs something, but I'm not sure what…
Which is where you come in: Take a look at these pics from April's Clover Market and give me some ideas, please! Tell me what works and what doesn't work.
Thanks!

a longer covering so you can't see what's underneath!}

Hey Lisa. Your things look beautiful! If the wind blew hard would it move your big banner in the back knocking over the bird prints? I couldn't tell how close the prints were to the bottom edge of the banner and I would be afraid if one large print blew over, there would be a domino effect with the things in front. My other suggestion would be maybe have all of the same color cloths or the same on the side tables and one different print in the middle. If you need somebody to sew them, let me know! Good luck and I hope the weather is nice, sunny and warm on Sunday.
Hi Lisa! Looks great! The only thing I would suggest is maybe tableclothes that match & also don't detract from your beautiful work? In the past, I have used PVC pipe w/ poured concrete inside as weights, you may have seen this... I'm curious about doing this show- let me know how it goes!
Hey Cathy and Lauren! Thanks for commenting.
Cathy, the banner isn't close enough to knock anything over. I would love to talk about having some custom table covers made. I think about it, but know I'll never do it on my own!
Funny that you both said to have the same color coverings. I wouldn't have thought about that. In fact, I thought the opposite! But it does make sense.
Lauren, I have these very heavy old wrenches that are perfect as tent weights. I love this show - you should do it!
I like when the things are on the wall because they are easier to see, but I completely understand that it can get scarily windy. I wonder if there is some sort of pegboard or grid you could use to create a more stable wall?
Yes, there are walls that I'd like to eventually purchase - they are mesh and attach to the tent, but in the meantime I have to figure something else out!
Your stall looks lovely...
